Website Updates

Some updates have been made to the website. Most of these changes will hardly be noticeable and should seamlessly integrate with the website as you have come to know it. With that said, web “stuff” can be unpredictable due to the wide variety of computers and browsers being used.  If you are having difficulty viewing the website since your last visit please contact the webmaster with a description of your problem.

  • Various software updates.
  • Increased type size site-wide for easier viewing.
  • The previous method of securing pages was no longer supported by the software publisher. A new, more advanced, method of securing those pages is now in place. You must be logged in to  access the members’ sections.
  • There is a login security system now in place. Repeated failed login attempts will result in a lockout. If you have trouble logging in, contact the webmaster.
  • Some minor content changes were made.

Why can’t you logon?

While we revamp our website, many members may have trouble logging in.  Don’t give up.  Here is what is going on:

Due to the new format, all 580+ members must be set up individually.  As you can imagine, this is an arduous process, and does take time.

As of the time of this posting, all members that are on the county’s email system have been been registered.

Thank you for your patience.

A Message From The Lodge President

The Fraternal Order of Police – Red Rose Lodge # 16 (Lancaster County, PA) is a fraternal labor organization dedicated to improving the lives of our members and their families.

Red Rose Lodge #16 supports an excess of 550 actively employed and retired police officers who are currently working, or who have worked in Lancaster County. Our focus is geared towards the improvement of services, continuing education, labor issues, and promoting legislation that is beneficial for police officers on the County, State and National level. Our lodge is proudly supported by more than 450 “Associate Members” who stand with our active membership.

Our membership and the elected officers of our board are devoted to the protection of citizens and their property, promoting our profession, and encouraging Lancaster County residents to support the police officers serving their communities in their daily duties.

Red Rose Lodge #16 takes an active role of volunteering time, energy, and financial assistance to charitable organizations within our county. Our lodge remains committed to helping its members, our citizens, or those in need of assistance in times of crisis and beyond those traumatic events that life throws at all of us.

When you visit our website take time to explore the various pages and links to get to know our lodge and what we stand for. We hope that you will find our website to be informative as well as a useful resource for your convenience, comfort, and safety.

Our website is currently in process of being overhauled, so please be patient and bear with us as this transition comes to a close in the near future.

Thank you again for taking the time to visit our site.

Christopher M. Erb
